Oh, it's not so bad. It's not beautiful prose, no, but the idea is aleatoric, so you should expect it to be artless.

Besides, is it really so unlikely that you would have a programming book near your computer at home either?

Erk. In viewing my comment I just saw your new style for the first time (since I override normally).

No offense, but rendered in Safari the red-on-blue is an eyebiting contrast. Had a look on tpau's machine in Mozilla, and it is slightly calmer, but would still recommend darker blue and browner red.

Also, it may look cleaner without, but I at least actually pay attention to the datestamp on comments...

Actually, I don't have many programming books near the computer at home; I'm mostly surrounded by period gaming books on the left, with dance books and other primary sources on the right. Truth to tell, I don't have all that many programming books: I tend to mostly learn my software from online sources.

(If I'd done it from home, the topmost book would have been The Elegant Universe, which is at least a *bit* less prosaic...)
