Check it out. I have to suspect that this is a variant of [livejournal.com profile] editrx' rabid weasel meme, although I'm not sure -- there must be a link or two in the chain that I haven't tracked down...

THat's cool

I soooo want that shirt. At the very least I will get the mug. I do have to ask permission for the shirt though - I do not want the hubby refusing to be seen in public with me - and I could never wear it where my father-in-law would see it - but I want it.

I have permission on the premise that his father NEVER see the shirt - NEVER

Never see the shirt...

A friend of mine, who is a Bush republican (but I forgive him) and whose father is very big in Republican Committee work in another state came by and gave me an "inspirational" poster the other day -- a hand-autographed photo of Laura and Shrub thanking (the recipient) for being part of what makes America great -- the grassroots support of "decent, moral Republicans."

I asked him if he would care if it inspired me to by a dart board, or perhaps to vote for Kerry, and he said "What you get inspired to do is your business!" and laughed a lot.

[Evil Grin] I'm still debating the best thing to do with it.....

He might have that attitude to the shirt, but more than likely he would not. My father-in-law is a really nice man for all that he is a republican. He does a great deal for JMac and I so I endeavor not to piss him off. We are neighbors and we work together too - so I have to be a good girl.

I'm pretty sure that's actually a case of parallel evolution. An idea like "Anyone But Bush" certainly lends itself to further permutations, but it's interesting to see a fairly classical memetic parallelism.
